NORTH QUEENSLAND FURY FC
“The undisputed community club”
Fury Family Mission
The Fury Family is dedicated to creating a sustainable bond with the community that promotes positive community change and enhanced living.
Quote – NORTH QUEENSLAND FURY Business Plan
“North Queensland Fury FC will be focused as the ‘family club’, emphasizing family values, family time and a safe and enjoyable environment for all supporters of tolerance and belonging”
The Fury Family is committed to working to improve the lives of people from all walks of life. To do this the club will endeavour to entrench itself into society as a highly valued member of the community. Our players, coaches and staff understand their unique public role and relish the responsibility to work with local charities, schools, junior clubs and community groups to make a positive contribution throughout the region. The Fury is proud to take the opportunity to support the region that supports it.
NQFC will be built on an ethical platform of respect, community association and fair play; we also embrace and assist the development of local, regional and state football bodies.
The Fury receives hundreds of worthy request per week, unfortunately, we are unable to assist every worthy cause that requests and needs support. Therefore we have adopted the following criteria as a process for requests.
CHARITY REQUESTS
North Queensland Fury FC’s major club partner and official charity is Mission Australia. The NQ Fury hopes to utilise its brand to raise as much money as possible for Mission Australia over the next three years to help them improve the lives of the indigenous population throughout Northern Australia. Due to this commitment, the NQ Fury does not make any donations of cash or merchandise to other registered charities but is happy to help facilitate the signing of merchandise sent to the club (refer to “Signing of Items” below).
TICKET DONATIONS
For those organisations looking for the donation of tickets for the purposes of fundraising, North Queensland Fury FC are happy to help on a like-for-like basis. If that organisation wishes to purchase a number of general admission tickets for a particular match, then the NQ Fury will match this number free-of-charge (maximum of ten tickets). These requests must be made in writing to Jodie O’Donnell, Ticket & Membership Manager, North Queensland Fury, 43-47 Dalrymple Road, Garbutt, 4814 or jodonnell@nqfury.com.au. Requesting organisations must state who they are fundraising for and how these tickets will be used to raise money.
